Root Level Technology will be at Devopsdays Houston

John Rucker (Enterprise Account Executive), Tristian Dodd (Cloud Engineer), and Zac Dudek (Enterprise Account Executive) will be representing Root Level Technology at this year’s Devopsdays Houston! The event will be held at CityCentre in Houston, TX at the Norris Conference Centers, April 16th – 17th.

Devopsdays is a worldwide series of technical conferences covering topics of software development, IT infrastructure operations, and the intersection between them. The event is jam-packed with talks and workshops. Tristian is excited to attend multiple workshops at Devopsdays Houston, including:

  • Quick and Dirty DevSecOps. A workshop where you learn what attackers look for first and the best practices to make your technology stack much more secure, and quickly. The workshop will be lead by Mike Rothman.
  • Continuous Compliance with Chef and InSpec. A workshop, you will take a look at how to use Chef and InSpec to detect, correct, and automate compliance on cloud-based Windows instances. The workshop will be lead by Brad Dausses.
  • Deploying Monitoring and Logging to Kubernetes. This is a workshop where you will utilize open source tools like Prometheus, Helm, Grafana, and Loki to quickly have full visibility into the happenings of your clusters and workloads. This workshop will be lead by Eddi Zaneski.
