You have no doubt come across Kubernetes by now, or maybe you are even using it in your production environment. I absolutely love Kubernetes. It is not a one size fits all solution, and it can be as simple or as complex as you need it to be. The ecosystem is also very impressive, and would be for any open source project. It is evolving even faster than I can keep up with. I literally learn something new nearly every day. 

One thing that I have not been impressed with is the web UI, or dashboards. They have always come across to me as minimalistic for such a complex tool. None of them have impressed me, not even the cloud offerings that help you manage, and deploy, your Kubernetes cluster. 

This is where Rancher really shines. So, why use Rancher? I will admit, I have been using Rancher since it was in beta many years ago, and I am still impressed with how much value it adds to your current, or planned, Kubernetes cluster. 

I want to share with you the value Rancher can bring to your business, and how it can make things so much easier for you. This blog series is going to focus on the many benefits of introducing Rancher into your Kubernetes environment, whether it be on-prem or in the cloud.
