To wrap up this year’s AWS re:invent, our talent acquisition manager, Anya Marshall, is especially excited about today’s product announcements. “The day started with Werner Vogel’s announcements around enhanced and new features for Lambdas and Serverless. New additions are Lambda Layers & Runtime API, and Lambda support in new languages, which make sharing code, frameworks, modules, and libraries across functions easy. The day was full of workshops and partner presentations, and most importantly hallway sessions. It’s amazing to see the technical community come together and work to solve common problems. We are 3 days into re:invent and the announcements are still just as exciting as the first 2 days. Anya Marshall, our Talent Acquisition Manager, is currently absorbing all of the excitement around Andy Jassy, keynote speaker and AWS CEO.   “It’s been an exciting and eventful day at AWS Reinvent. In his keynote, Andy Jassy emphasized the notion of Database Freedom true to the principles of customer obsession. Announcements included 35 new features for Amazon Aurora, a reliable commercial grade DB system that comes in at 1/10 of the cost compared to the competition.
